The new Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XP50 features a new and advanced 640 resolution NETD <40 mK sensor which produces an incredibly detailed thermal image. Even when thermal contrast is low, small temperature differences are clearly visible with richly contrasted, high-resolution imaging. This new sensor, combined with a high resolution, wide-angle AMOLED display, is a large improvement over the sensors in the previous Pulsar scopes with the XP (640) sensor. This new sensor allows the Trail 2 LRF XP50 to detect targets up to 1970 yards away and is much more sensitive to small temperature changes than previous XP units.
The newly designed Trail 2 LRF series also features a new shockproof Magnesium alloy housing for much greater structural rigidity and protection from vibration and recoil. This is a much more robust housing than the first generation Pulsar Trail LRF.
The Trail 2 LRF XP50 is IPX7 weatherproof and made for use in all weather conditions, including blistering heat and bitter cold. It is even rated for submersion of up to 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
The onboard Laser Rangefinder precisely determines target distances quickly and easily. It features two modes; single-time measurement and scanning mode. It ranges within +/- 1 yard out to roughly one-half mile of distance.
Capturing still images and video is seamless with the Trail 2 LRF XP50’s built-in video recorder. Up to 16GB of image and video content can be stored internally and can easily be transferred to a PC/laptop via wired connection or wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet with the iOS and Android compatible Stream Vision App.
In addition to user-favorite “white hot” and “black hot” imaging, Trail 2 LRF scopes offer a robust array of color palettes for true colorized temperature mapping. Transitioning from color to default “white hot” during operation is also fast and easy. Trail 2 LRF XP50’s include variable magnification of 2-16x, and feature both 2x step-up and smooth, graduated magnification for a truly optimum, customized field of view.
The Trail 2 LRF series is powered by the powerful Pulsar B-Pack battery system and comes standard with the IPS-7 rechargeable battery for continuous run times of 8 hours, or more. It is also compatible with the ultra long-lasting IPS-14 battery for even longer run times. The BPS battery pack can be used as well to power the scope with common AA batteries.
Other notable features include Pulsar’s proprietary Image Boost technology, Instant Start-Up, recoil rating of up to 375 H&H or 12 Gauge, simple user-friendly controls, customizable reticle options, and the ability to save multiple zeros.
With a full 3 year warranty and Pulsar’s long reputation of being the top industry leader in customer service, you can buy the Trail 2 LRF XP50 with the confidence to enjoy it while night hunting for years to come.
