Pulsar Digex N450 Digital Night Vision Scope
New for 2020 from Pulsar
The new Pulsar Digex N450 Digital Night Vision Scope gives the user best in class digital night vision performance in the same all metal, 30mm housing as the hugely successful Pulsar Thermion Thermal series.
The new all metal housing features an anti-wear coating will maintain the Digex’s external finish for years of use. The design of the 30mm housing is similar to most daytime optics and it allows for mounting of the scope to a more diverse range of weapons than many other digital optics will allow. The unit will even handle high recoil up to and including 12 Gauge or .375 H&H. The Digex is fully waterproof, with an IPX7 rating to include submersion up to 1 meter.
The Digex features a built-in recorder to capture still images and HD quality videos with sound. Footage can be transferred to PC/laptop or mobile device via a wired connection or via the Stream Vision app. It features a highly sensitive 1280х720 HD CMOS sensor which ensures that the Digex delivers a high definition image with precise detail rendering. The Digex also allows the user to periodically update the firmware at home through the same Stream Vision app.
The use of cutting-edge electronic components and signal-processing algorithms guarantee the best nighttime sensitivity. As a result, the unit offers flawless passive-mode performance in very dark environments, even without the IR Illuminator. The Digex N450 includes a detachable, high-power 850nm IR illuminator, with three levels of brightness adjustment, for use when required.
The Digex features a base magnification of 4x, which a digital zoom of up to 16x. The zoom changes either gradually in 2x step or continuously for a truly optimum, customized field of view for any specific situation. The unit features several choices of reticles which scale proportionately to the magnification, similar to a first focal plane daytime optic. It features a Picture-in-Picture mode, like most other Pulsar optics. PIP allows for precise shooting while maintaining a larger field of view and increased situational awareness in the majority of the display.
The Digex is powered with two rechargeable batteries: one built-in and the other replaceable located in the battery compartment. Upon discharge of the battery in the battery compartment, the unit switches automatically to the built-in battery. The replaceable battery can be removed and replaced in a matter of seconds, without ever shutting the scope off. The Digex utilizes the same APS series of batteries that are used by the Axion and Thermion series of thermal optics.
