The InfiRay Jerry-31 is one of the most affordable dual-tube night vision binocular systems on the market, but without lacking on features or performance.  It offers reliable Gen 2+ performance in a compact and ultralight weight design. 

The dual articulating design of the Jerry-31 allows users to operate the unit with either one or both eyes.  This is useful when operating a thermal optic or other passive aiming device while maintaining night vision on one side only.  This also allows the user to stow the pods comfortably against the helmet for a lower profile while in a vehicle or where head space may be limited.  Individual pods are powered off when articulated to eliminate backspash and protect the image intensifier tubes.

The Jerry-31 is comprised of a simple, minimalist design with similar controls and features to the 1431 and PVS-31 styles of BNVD's.  A tactile control knob located on the front of the unit controls power on / off / illumination / gain functions.  Interpupillary adjustments allow the user to effortlessly set IP stop distances to their preferences, and a durable aluminum dovetail provides secure attachment to the user’s helmet mount.

Housing and Optics Information

The Jerry-31 is constructed of ultralight, yet high-strength reinforced polymer material.  Power is supplied by a single AA battery and provides up to 20 hours of continuous use per battery.  A supplemental power port will allow for even longer operating times.

Image Intensifier Tube Information

The InfiRay Jerry-31 is available with the following image intensifier tube options:

  • NNVT Super Gen 2 Low Light White Phosphor
  • NNVT Super Gen 2 Low Light Green Phosphor

Image intensifier tubes are meticulously selected for a clean image and minimum performance specifications of 1400 FOM, 22 SNR, and 64 resolution.
