The InfiRay Outdoor M6 Pan-Tilt Zoom (PTZ) Thermal Camera System is designed to enhance scanning capabilities while onboard a vehicle, and is overbuilt to maintain exceptional performance over years of hard use and exposure to the elements. 

These units are equipped with a 640x512, 12μm, <50mK, InfiRay Micro II thermal core combined with a 25mm F/1.0 high quality Germanium objective lens, which gives this unit a 1.0x base magnification.  The wide field of view and focus set to infinity, makes it great for scanning large areas on the go and from the comfort of a vehicle. 

The M6 PTZ allows for complete 360° panning rotation and 90° vertical tilt.  Additionally, onboard two-axis gyro-stabilization helps produce a stable image while the vehicle is underway.  The rugged Aluminum housing is lightweight but provides exceptional durability and weather protection.

An integrated laser rangefinder provides accurate range data out to 1000 yards, and a visible laser pointer is incorporated for further situational awareness.  For example, a hunting guide could use the LRF combined with the laser pointer to help guide his clients to a particular target at a specific distance. 

The M6 PTZ comes as a complete kit with multiple mounting options, power cables, and a simple handheld controller designed for one-handed operation.  It can be powered with direct wiring to the battery or a fuse panel, as well as a 12V car auxilary adapter.  Waterproof cable connections are standard and the M6 has lanyard attached port caps to protect the terminals when the cables are not connected. 

The video feed from the M6 PTZ is viewed using the InfiRay Outdoor App on iOS or Android devices.  The onboard WiFi antenna is located on the rear of the unit in a protected location and is designed for smooth streaming.  Additionally, the M6 has the ability to be hardwired.  Other features users have come to expect from today’s thermal optics include digital zoom, onboard video recording, image adjustments, and multiple color pallets.
