The Wave Tempest 335 LRF is a compact, high-performance thermal weapon sight with an integrated laser rangefinder engineered to quality dependable thermal imaging with laser range finding capability in a small, lightweight, and affordable package. It features a sixth-generation 384 × 288, 12 µm thermal sensor with true sub-18 mK NETD sensitivity, paired with a 35 mm Ultra-Pure Germanium objective lens and a 1024 × 768 HD AMOLED display to deliver clear, high-contrast thermal imagery with a 3.3× base magnification.

A key feature of the Tempest LRF series is the integrated laser rangefinder (LRF), which provides fast and accurate distance measurement and can operate in both Ballistic Mode and Scan Mode. In Scan Mode, the laser operates continuously and updates distances multiple times per second. When in Ballistic Mode, the laser works with the onboard ballistic calculator to provide a real-time aiming solution while providing range data.

Built for rugged use, the Tempest 335 LRF features a compact, mil-spec aluminum housing designed for durability, heat dissipation, and long-term reliability. The nitrogen-purged, IP67-rated construction ensures dependable performance in adverse weather and high-recoil weapons of up to 6,000 Joules (.300 WM equivalent). Intuitive ambidextrous joystick controls and a large top-mounted focus knob allow fast, precise control and focus adjustment, even while wearing gloves.

Additional capabilities of the Tempest 335 LRF include a simplified one-screen zeroing process with freeze function, advanced reticle management with multiple reticles and focal plane options, automatic ballistic compensation via the integrated laser rangefinder, onboard photo and video recording with file management, Wi-Fi connectivity for app integration and firmware updates, Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode, and support for multiple named weapon profiles with stored zero distances. The Tempest 335 LRF comes complete with a quick-detach scope mount for secure attachment and repeatable zero.

Power is supplied by two non-proprietary protected 18650 rechargeable batteries, delivering exceptionally long runtime exceeding 13+ hours per set. This dual-battery configuration provides reliable operation while allowing batteries to be swapped quickly when required. The Tempest 335 LRF also supports external power via USB-C for extended operating time when connected to an external power source.
