The Autel Robotics Alpha is paired with the Autel DG-L35T gimbal system and provides professional UAS users with a powerful, industrial-grade RTK drone solution with an extensive set of features and sensors, and is backed by USA-based support.

The Autel Alpha is not subject to restrictive controls, such as geofencing, “No-Fly Zones”, or forced updates that prevent takeoff.  Operators are responsible for their own compliance with regulations and airspace restrictions, without the need for special unlocking or permissions from the manufacturer.  It can be rapidly deployed from the case to the air in 45 seconds.

This unit provides extremely long flight times of up to 40 minutes and transmission distance of up to 12.4 miles making it an extremely capable platform for any required operation.  This unit is ideal for law enforcement, firefighting, industrial inspection, search and rescue, precision mapping, feral hog or predator control applications, and wildlife surveys.  Additionally, it can withstand flight in high winds up to 27 mph and all weather conditions, making it a versatile option for operating in the most challenging flight conditions.  A dual battery system ensures redundancy and flight safety, as well as allows for “hot-swapping” of batteries to quickly return to the air.

The Autel Alpha provides a full suite of sensors including a wide-angle visual camera, a long-range zoom visual camera, a wide-angle thermal camera, a long-range zoom thermal camera, and a long-range laser rangefinder.   The radiometric dual-thermal sensor consists of 13mm and 45mm focal-length Germanium thermal lenses combined with 640 x 512, 12 micron uncooled VOx thermal sensors to provide exceptional image quality at all ranges, and up to 45x hybrid zoom.  It features multiple color pallets, multiple temperature measurement modes, temperature alarm with isotherm selection, and advanced image enhancement with real-time control over brightness, detail, and contrast.

An ultra-long range zoom camera provides up to 35x optical magnification at 4K resolution, and up to 560x hybrid zoom with an ultra-sensitive ISO of up to 160,000 allowing for clear viewing of objects up to five miles away.  A wide angle camera provides situational awareness, as well as the Autel moonlight algorithm 2.0 for nighttime noise suppression and sensitivity.

This unit features Autel Skylink 3.0 video transmission technology which provides HD quality video at further ranges, along with tri-band communication frequency support.  Additionally, it features flight control modules and algorithms specially designed for anti-jamming and anti-interference protections and to counter RFI, EMI, and GPS spoofing.  The Autel Alpha is equipped with a full array of sensors along with radar, which enables 360 degree obstacle avoidance, as well as allows building of three-dimensional maps and path planning in realtime.  The precision radar also allows the Alpha to navigate within GPS denied environments, such as within hardened structures, with less than three centimeter accuracy.

This unit features a self-learning AI-based target recognition and tracking system, which can automatically recognize people, cars, boats, and other objects, while projecting them on the map in real time.  The Autel Alpha features the industry’s first drone mesh networking technology, which enables drone-to-drone autonomous communication, connection and collaboration.  This provides stronger anti-interference abilities, beyond-line-of-sight operations, and full-fleet control allowing a single pilot to operate multiple drones.

The Autel Alpha features a built-in dual-antenna RTK system, which provides real-time centimeter-level positioning data, and supports Post-Processing Kinematic (PPK).  The positioning system supports an RTK base station and NTRIP RTK network, which help to achieve accurate and stable data acquisition in complex operation environments.  This unit is ideal for 3D mapping missions and allows for multiple NTRIP profile saving, photo replication, and multi-battery missions.

Additionally, the Autel Alpha is compatible with the Alpha Speaker and Spotlight module (sold separately), which allows users to broadcast audio and use extremely bright LED lighting for search and rescue, public safety or other industrial uses.

The Autel Alpha is paired with the Autel Smart Controller V3 and provides exceptional detail using a 7.9”, 2000 NIT high-brightness screen, which is visible in direct sunlight.  The customizable Android operating system allows compatibility with 3rd party apps such as Pix4D, DroneDeploy, and SkyeBrowse for maximum flexibility and operational control.  The Alpha kit includes the aircraft, DG-L35T gimbal system, controller, two batteries, spare propellors, propellor covers, charging components, remote lanyard, cleaning kit, and waterproof carry case.

Autel Robotics products feature a one year manufacturer warranty, but users may purchase upgraded Autel Care plans for even more protection, and long-term peace of mind.
