The PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular System is the gold-standard night vision monocular in use today by all branches of the United States Military as well as many Law Enforcement Agencies.
It is extremely versatile and can be utilized in handheld, weapon-mounted or helmet-mounted capacities. When in use the PVS-14 provides high-quality Generation 3 night vision aid to the user, but while allowing the unaided eye to retain its natural, night-adapted vision for overall situational awareness.
Gain control allows the user to adjust the brightness of the unit in order to provide the perfect balance of night vision clarity without a blinding excess of light. An onboard IR illuminator provides supplemental, short-range illumination in extremely dark environments.
