The DJI Zenmuse S1 is a high-intensity aerial spotlight designed for DJI enterprise drone platforms including the Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 300 RTK. Built for demanding operations in low-light environments, the Zenmuse S1 provides powerful directional illumination to support search and rescue missions, public safety operations, nighttime inspections, and emergency response.

The Zenmuse S1 utilizes Laser-Excited Phosphor (LEP) lighting technology to deliver highly concentrated illumination with excellent beam penetration and efficiency. The spotlight provides long-range visibility and can illuminate targets at distances of up to approximately 500 meters, enabling operators to identify objects and terrain features during nighttime operations.

Multiple lighting modes allow the operator to adapt the beam pattern for different mission scenarios. Low Beam mode provides wider illumination for close-range inspection work, while High Beam mode delivers a focused long-distance beam for identifying subjects at extended range. Both beams can also be used simultaneously, and a strobe mode is available for signaling and emergency response situations.

The Zenmuse S1 integrates directly with the drone’s gimbal control system so the light beam follows the camera’s direction, ensuring the illuminated area remains aligned with the operator’s field of view during flight. The unit is designed for reliable operation in challenging environments and carries an IP54 weather-resistant rating, allowing use in rain, dust, and other demanding field conditions.

When paired with compatible DJI enterprise aircraft, the Zenmuse S1 provides critical lighting capability for nighttime operations, improving visibility and situational awareness during search, inspection, and emergency missions.
