The GUIDE USA TU425SE 3.0 is an ultralight thermal weapon sight designed to deliver strong image quality, compact size, and advanced imaging performance in a lightweight LPVO-style thermal platform. Built around a 400×300 thermal sensor and paired with a 25mm germanium objective lens, the TU425SE 3.0 is ideal for hunters wanting a smaller, lighter optic without sacrificing performance.

At the core of the system is a 12μm thermal sensor with ≤20 mK NETD sensitivity, allowing the unit to produce detailed imagery with excellent contrast and identification, even in challenging environmental conditions. Combined with GUIDE’s Hyper-Light image processing algorithm, the system delivers improved clarity, reduced noise, and enhanced image detail across all conditions.

A major advantage of the TU425SE 3.0 is its shutterless 3.0 design, eliminating the clicking sound and image freezing associated with traditional thermal calibration systems. This provides uninterrupted viewing during scanning and engagement.

With a 25mm F/1.0 germanium lens and base magnification of 3.1x, optimized for short-to-medium range use, the TU425SE provides a wide field of view for scanning and quick follow up shots on groups of coyotes or feral pigs while maintaining excellent image quality. Digital zoom further extends the system’s effective range through onboard processing enhancements.

The TU425SE 3.0 utilizes an LPVO-style ultralight housing design weighing only approximately 20 ounces, making it significantly lighter and more compact than traditional thermal scopes while maintaining a durable all-metal 30mm tube-style construction.

The unit is powered by a dual-rechargeable battery system consisting of an internal battery plus a removable 18650, offering extended operating times of up to twelve hours along with the ability to “hot-swap” batteries without shutting the unit down. Onboard video recording, audio recording, Bluetooth capability, and dual-band WiFi connectivity allow users to capture and stream footage via the Guide TargetIR mobile app.

The TU425SE 3.0 is constructed using a rugged housing and features IP68 rated environmental protection along with 6,000 joules of recoil resistance, making it suitable for demanding hunting conditions and high recoil applications up to .300 WM.
