The RIX LEAP L12R is the premium, ultra-high-resolution, long-range thermal weapon sight engineered for superior performance under demanding conditions. Equipped with a 1280 × 1024 thermal sensor with <15 mK NETD sensitivity and paired with a 60 mm Germanium objective lens, the LEAP L12R delivers exceptional thermal imaging and long-range detection. Its advanced optical system provides continuous zoom from 2.0× to 6.0×, while the high-resolution 2560 × 2560 Round AMOLED display ensures sharp, high-contrast imaging throughout the magnification range.

Built around RIX’s breakthrough continuous optical zoom system along with AI algorithms, the LEAP L12R maintains full sensor utilization and image clarity at all magnification levels. An integrated, low-profile laser rangefinder measures distances out to approximately 1,312 yards and works in conjunction with the onboard ballistic calculator to deliver precise aiming solutions in real time.

The LEAP L12R features a rugged 30mm tube-style housing designed for durability and versatility. Advanced image optimization and dynamic scene adaptation provide reliable performance across a wide range of environmental conditions. Additional features include onboard photo and video recording, Wi-Fi connectivity via the RIX+ mobile app, Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode, metal lens cover, Return-to-Center Zeroing function, high recoil tolerance of up to .375 H&H or 12-gauge, and simple glove-friendly intuitive controls.

Power is supplied by a dual-battery system consisting of an internal 4000 mAh battery paired with an external, swappable 18650 rechargeable battery, providing runtimes of up to six and a half hours. USB-C external power capability is also supported for even longer operating times.
