Ed Whipple

Ed Whipple grew up fishing in the Houston and Galveston area.  When he wasn’t fishing; he was shooting a bow for fun, or deer hunting.  While attending college in Jacksonville and Georgetown, Texas he stepped away from fishing and hunting for a while.  After moving to McKinney, Texas in 2000, he was invited to go hog hunting with a church friend and his life has not been the same since.
For the past 19 years, Ed has hunted feral hogs with every form of weapon, lighting system, night vision, digital night vision and thermal technology available.  Although Ed enjoys feral hog hunting, he also frequently takes hunting trips to numerous other states (Oklahoma, Colorado, Washington State, Utah, Montanna, and Tennessee) where he pursues Elk, Whitetail Deer, Pronghorn and Mule Deer.
Ed has also participated in F-Class, Long Range, and E.L.R. shooting competitions in Missouri.  He enjoys reloading, shooting his bow, and recently became interested in coyote hunting and fly fishing.  Ed enjoys connecting friends, church members, and people on YouTube to the great outdoors.
Ed resides in Allen, Texas. He has served as Student Pastor and Associate Pastor in different Churches in Texas and Missouri.  He is the Student Pastor at First Allen Church (First Methodist Allen).  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and Theology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
Ed also has a large following on his YouTube page, where he reviews various outdoor products and chronicles many of his hunting adventures.
