Jacob Taylor
Jacob grew up in rural Northeast Texas, where he enjoyed playing sports and shooting 22’s with his father. His love for the outdoors really started when he was about 12 years old and made his first hunting trip to the family deer lease. Since then, he’s disappeared to the woods as often as possible. He regularly hunts giant Mule Deer in West Texas, Grayson County White Tails and Black Bear in SW Arkansas, as well as turkey, dove and feral hogs all over.
Most recently, Jacob’s focus has primarily been feral hog eradication and crop protection all over North and West Texas. An avid firearm collector, he hunts with a variety of weapons. For night hunting, he mostly runs a custom 6.5 Grendel with a Pulsar XP38 and Night Vision Outfitters White Phosphor PVS-14. He prefers this setup for reliability and good performance.
Jacob lives in McKinney, Texas and enjoys a career in new Freightliner and Western Star commercial trucks sales. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and has a specialized degree in Air Traffic Control Management. When he’s not hunting hogs or in the deer woods, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 3-year-old daughter and looks forward to the birth of his first son in February of 2020. He also enjoys playing poker, horse-trading firearms, fishing and skeet/trap shooting.
