Myron resides in McKinney, Texas, with his wife, Ashley, and their three daughters. He grew up in Grayson County in North Texas on his family’s farm, where he developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and the outdoors. He has been hunting most of his life and has spent the last fifteen years extensively using thermal and night vision optics to hunt feral hogs and coyotes. He is also an avid fisherman, bow hunter, and waterfowl hunter.
An early adopter of thermal drone technology, Myron was building and integrating thermal systems into unmanned aircraft before turnkey thermal drones were commercially available. He modified and programmed conventional drone platforms to operate with FLIR thermal cameras, creating compact thermal UAS solutions for feral hog and predator control. His hands-on development experience, combined with his aviation background, allows him to provide informed, real-world guidance on thermal drone purchases and applications.
Myron holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed pilot, certified flight instructor, and former airline pilot. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, as well as a commercial drone operator license, and remains active in aviation. He currently serves in executive leadership and ownership roles across multiple businesses. When he’s not hunting or spending time with his family, he can usually be found at Lake Texoma, working on the farm, or fishing somewhere along the coast.
