The INFITAC IOP13 is a compact, multi-purpose thermal optic designed for rifle and carbine applications, delivering an exceptionally wide field of view and versatile performance in a lightweight platform. Built around a 256 × 192, 12 µm thermal sensor with ≤25 mK sensitivity and a 50Hz refresh rate, the IOP13 provides smooth thermal imaging and reliable target detection across a wide range of shooting environments.

Paired with a 13mm F/1.0 germanium lens and 1.5× base magnification, the IOP13 delivers a wide 13.5° field of view that provides excellent situational awareness and fast target acquisition. Its focus-free optical system allows the shooter to quickly scan and engage without the need for manual objective focus adjustments.

The IOP13 features INFITAC’s unique 3+1 multi-role design, allowing it to function as a standalone thermal scope, clip-on device, handheld scanner, or paired with a 45° offset red dot for rapid close-range shot. An included removable 45° offset mount with an RMR-style interface allows a compatible red dot to be mounted directly alongside the thermal optic for fast transitions between thermal and passive aiming.

A 0.39-inch 1024 × 768 AMOLED display provides a clear viewing image, while INFITAC’s Super Resolution Engine (SRE) uses advanced image processing to enhance thermal detail and improve target definition beyond the native sensor resolution. Multiple color palettes, reticle options, and up to 4× digital zoom allows for further versatility.

The IOP13 incorporates INFITAC’s IOT (Intelligent Optics Technology) ecosystem, allowing wireless connectivity with compatible INFITAC devices including the DNVS-14 Pro. The system can transmit the thermal image to a connected DNVS device while also supporting control and live viewing through the INFITAC mobile app. Photo, video, and audio capture provide additional recording capability for reviewing and sharing footage.

Power is supplied by a replaceable 18650 rechargeable battery with up to approximately 7+ hours of operating time. A USB-C interface provides external power capability for extended operation. Additionally, a secondary battery cap is included to allow for variations in length of some 18650 batteries. The lightweight AL6061-T6 aluminum housing weighs approximately 17.7 ounces and is IP67 rated for dependable use in demanding conditions. A removable Flash Killer anti-reflection device is also included to help reduce forward lens reflection.
