The RIX STRIDE ST6 Lite is an ultralight, ultra-compact 640 thermal monocular designed for handheld or helmet-mounted operation at an affordable price and without sacrificing quality. The STRIDE ST6 Lite features a 640 × 512, 12 µm, <20 mK NETD thermal sensor with a 50 Hz refresh rate in conjunction with a 25mm F/1.0 Germanium objective lens. This lens and sensor is paired with a 1024 × 768 OLED display to provide excellent image quality, a wide field of view, and a base magnification of 1.0x.

Weighing less than half a pound (205 grams), the ST6 Lite reduces helmet load and user fatigue during extended hands-free operation. The ultra-compact housing maintains a low profile when attached to a helmet, making entry and exit from vehicles more comfortable than larger head-mounted thermal optics.

Other notable features of the STRIDE ST6 Lite include digital zoom of up to 6×, detection range of up to 1,400 yards, multiple color palettes, multiple mounting options, lanyard attachment point, simple and intuitive controls, integrated lens cover, rugged yet lightweight polymer housing, onboard video recording (with audio and image capture), 32GB of onboard storage, WiFi connectivity with RIX+ app compatibility for streaming and settings control, and an IP67 water and dust ingress rating.

Power is supplied by a single non-proprietary 18650 rechargeable battery, allowing quick battery changes and up to approximately four hours of operation per battery. The unit can also be powered externally via a USB-C input for extended runtime.
